Kemanggisan Urban Village Declared as KB Village

West Jakarta Administration declared Kemanggisan Urban Village, Palmerah, to be KB Village. That was declared at Manggis Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Thursday (3/23).

15 Urban Villages Targeted to Become Family Planning VillageWest Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi hoped residents in Kemanggisan Urban Village can participate Family Planning (KB) Programs. Thus communities welfare and family economics can be better.
"I hope citizen can take part on KB. Besides the declaration, we also hold Manggis RPTRA celebration," he said, Thursday (3/22).
West Jakarta Population Control, Children Protection, and Woman Empowerment Sub Dept. Head, Endang Widaningsih added that it was a celebration of RPTRA as the tenth KB Village in West Jakarta. KB Village will be established continuously for every urban village.
"We will continue to increase KB Village numbers in West Jakarta," she closed.
